Veterinary, Animal Science, Veterinary Technology, and pre-vet students from around the world.
Does this count for AHEMS or ASEMS?
Yes. The placement counts as 1 week of AHEMS or ASEMS, depending on your course.
Is this an ethical elephant program?
Yes. ECC follows a strict welfare-first approach. There is no riding, no performances, and no tourism activities involving elephants.
All activities are supervised by experienced professionals, with safety protocols followed at all times.
Is it safe to work with elephants?
Accommodation, meals, teaching, internal transport, and placement supervision. Flights, visas, and insurance are not included.
What is included in the program fee?
Your placement supervisor signs off on your hours, and your program coordinator completes the evaluation.
